Every pod and bottle of e-liquid shows a nicotine strength. In our range that’s mostly 20mg, with a 10mg option. Here’s what those numbers mean, how they interact with your device and which options are available.
What the numbers mean
Strength is measured in milligrams of nicotine per millilitre of liquid. 20mg means 20mg in every ml, which is 2%. 10mg is half that, or 1%. So a 2ml pod at 20mg holds twice as much nicotine as a 2ml pod at 10mg.

Strength and coil work together
The same liquid feels different in different coils. A lower-resistance coil (like 0.4Ω) heats more liquid per puff, so each puff delivers more vapour and more nicotine. That’s why high-strength saltnic is normally used in higher-resistance coils (0.6Ω to 1.0Ω), and lower strengths in lower-resistance coils. More in our coil resistance guide.

Want 10mg? You’ll need an open pod
All the pre-filled pods listed above come at 20mg. If you want a lighter strength, use an open pod device, such as the Aladdin Pro PE511, ASDF Core or Syokbar Target, and fill it with Vapetape Saltnic 10mg. Our refill guide shows you how.

Yes. 20mg per ml is 2%, and 10mg per ml is 1%.

Does a bigger puff count mean more nicotine?
